Why it exists
Ad money should go where buyers come from. This page groups every contact by first tracked touch and shows people, buyers, conversion rate and revenue per channel, so spend decisions rest on real sales.
How it works
- The header counts touchpoints and people who touched more than one channel. Tiles show people, attributed revenue, channels and Untagged.
- By first touch lists each channel with people, buyers, conversion rate, attributed revenue and revenue per person.
- Feeds back to shows which ad platform hears about that channel's sales: Meta for Facebook and Instagram, otherwise Google, TikTok or OpenAI.
- Click a channel to see its top 100 people by attributed revenue, with campaign and first touch date.
Works with
- Contacts: each person links to their record
- Qualified conversions: what is reported to ad platforms
- ROAS: return on ad spend per platform
Common questions
Why attributed, not lifetime, revenue?
Attributed counts only payments on or after the first tracked touch. Lifetime would credit a channel for money paid before the person ever saw the ad.
What is Untagged?
Visits whose ad tag the platform never filled in, so the source could not be read.
Why is organic revenue not sent to ad platforms?
Reporting an organic sale as a paid conversion teaches the ad platform something false.
