Confirmation messages

The email and text sent the moment someone submits the webinar registration form.

Why it exists

A new registrant expects instant proof they are signed up, with the date and join link. Without it they hear nothing until the first reminder. This is the first of the webinar messages, and it is sent once, at sign-up.

How it works

  1. Write the confirmation email subject and body.
  2. Write the confirmation text message.
  3. Click a variable chip such as first name, date, time or join link to insert it where your cursor is.
  4. Click Preview to see the message filled in for a real person, then Save.

Works with

  • Pre-webinar: everything after this, up to the live webinar
  • Confirmation page: the thank-you page shown at the same moment
  • Events: date and join link come from the active event

Common questions

Who gets the text?

Only registrants who gave a phone number and ticked consent. The email always goes out.

How is this different from Pre-webinar?

This is one message at the moment of sign-up. Pre-webinar holds the reminders that follow, from 24 hours before the event until it is live.

Does it wait for quiet hours?

No. This one text skips overnight quiet hours, because a confirmation is useless an hour later. Consent and opt-out still apply.
