Why it exists
People register days ahead and forget, so attendance depends on well-timed reminders. This page holds the built-in ladder plus any extra touches you add.
How it works
- Set the timing for the 24-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute reminders, or leave them blank for the defaults.
- Write the email and text for each reminder, including "We're live now" (a few minutes after start) and "During the webinar" (about 45 minutes in).
- Add custom steps: text, email or both, at a set time before or after the start, for everyone or a group such as first-time registrants.
- Use + Add a daily countdown to create one step per day before the event in one go.
Works with
- Confirmation messages: the message sent before these, at sign-up
- Post-webinar: what takes over once the replay is up
- Registrations: dots show which reminders reached each person
Common questions
Who receives these?
Everyone registered for the active event. Emails go to everyone, texts only to people who can be texted.
What if someone registers 10 hours before?
They get the reminders still ahead. A 24-hour or 1-hour reminder waits 30 minutes after sign-up so it does not land on top of the confirmation.
Do texts go out at night?
The 15-minute, live and mid-webinar texts skip quiet hours because they are time-critical. Custom steps over 90 minutes from the start respect them.
